On 5th July at 10am we leave Manchester to head off on an amazing Dorset Sailing Weekend.
Our Yacht is the Stargazer and is moored in Lakeyard Marina, Poole.
Our Poole Harbour Sailing weekend means we will enjoy a very Spacious 42ft, MCA Coded 8 berth Sailing Yacht, Stargazer.
This is the ideal trip for complete novices to more experienced, be taught or enjoy the fantastic sights of the coast.
The Package: A great weekend sailing: 2 nights on the boat accommodation, 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches, so all you need to bring with you is plenty of enthusiasm, Friday 29th June to Sunday 1st July.
Meet in Poole anytime after 4pm., no plans to sail Friday, just enjoy a nice meal in Poole and stay overnight on our yacht.
After a thorough safety briefing and instruction in the use of winches and mooring techniques,on Saturday morning we will sail past Brownsea Island, taking in the Spectacle of Sandbanks , Studland Bay and Harry’s Rock before heading West, passing Swanage along the beautiful Jurassic Coast, experiencing the overfalls off St Albans Head, on to Lulworth Cove before continuing on to Weymouth, the host town for the Olympics sailing this year.
We will spend the night on board the Yacht in Weymouth Harbour.
On Sunday Morning we will set sail East along the Jurassic Coast back to Poole Harbour.
Ideal trip to get out into the The English Channel, suitable for the more experienced and Novices alike .
Returning to Poole at about 4pm on Sunday afternoon.
We will eat lunches and breakfasts on board, Evening meals will be in one of the Many fine Pubs in Poole and Weymouth
Experienced, RYA Yachtmaster/Instructor onboard, full tuition offered.
Sailing is a very sociable pursuit, a great opportunity to meet new people, enjoy the sea air, beautiful scenery and learn new Skills.
Food and Marina Kitty about £12.00, feel free to bring wine beer etc on board for the trip!
