We are visiting the brilliant Chorlton Annual Beer Festival on 6th July at 6pm.
Chorlton Beer Festival is an annual fun event which is run in conjunction with St Clements, the festival began in 2005 to raise funds for the repair of the church buildings, but has grown to become a firm fixture in the Chorlton social calendar and the branch’s premier festival.
Year on year the festival has grown with more beers, more ciders & more visitors – so much so that despite a 20% increase in the beer order for 2012, the festival visitors still drunk it dry on Saturday evening.
For 2013 they anticipate in having over 80 cask ales plus 50 ciders and perries and bottled foreign beers.
The festival takes place in the grounds of the Church, with real ales in the church itself and cider, perry & foreign beers served from the Scout Hut.
