Our February 2014 Bulgarian ski-ing holiday is now taking bookings already!
This is a 7 day holiday which starts on 22nd February 2014 we will be visiting:
BOROVETS SKI RESORT
Borovets is the largest, most popular and the most modern of all the ski resorts in Bulgaria with excellent skiing facilities and cafes and restaurants. Borovets is situated on the conterminous Borovets col on the northern slopes of the Mousala Ridge in the eastern part of Rila. The resort is simply stunning and is huddled amongst venerable pine woods 1390 meters above the sea level (with highest pistes at 2600 metres); this is the perfect place for relaxing and recreation.
Borovets is an Alpine type resort, providing very good conditions for snow sports during the winter: skiing, night- skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, ski jumps and biathlon, ski-doo etc. There are available ski runs for beginners, intermediates and advanced skiers, designed with international markings and multilingual signs. Pistes are bashed and maintained to the high standard.
The resort of Boroivets fascinates with incredible winter sights, beautiful sun, glistening snow and excellent ski slopes. The complete quietness of the mountain scenery and dazzling whiteness of the fresh snow, crystal clear sky and scent of pine trees guarantee a magical ski adventure and maximum fun in Borovets.
At £1 a pint and £1.50 for a brandy and hot chocolate, Bulgaria is certainly cost effective so your spending money will go much much further! No need to pay 8 euro a drink in france!

What last year’s Social Circle Borovet’s Skiers say:
I’ve been a Social Circle member for 2 years and this is the first holiday abroad I have been on with them. Steve is the perfect host, provided us with the BEST hotel in the resort and the snow cover was the best I’d ever experienced having skied in the French Alps before. I traveled home with plenty of spare cash, more new friends and some of the best holiday memories I’ve ever had.
Sarah – Borovets 2012
What a stunning hotel – 5 star no less!!! Gorgeous food and situated right by the ski slopes with STUNNING views from the hotel balconies. Money stretches really far when dining out and buying drinks because of the fantastic value (happy hour is longer than an hour and is available in most bars throughout the night!). Glen – Borovets 2012
Outstanding value for money all the way from this stunning accommodation to the rich pickings of some of the best ski slopes I’ve ever skied on. Steve is a great host from the minute you land to the end of the holiday; organising ski passes to parties and pub crawls in the evening. My absolute favourite part of this holiday was skiing at night – nothing beats it! Dawn – Borovets 2012
